Job Summary

This role is ideal for an Electrical Engineering graduate specializing in Power or High Voltage Technology, offering a chance to join an established, family-owned engineering firm near Cologne/Bonn. The High Voltage Engineering Specialist will be responsible for defining electrical, thermal, and mechanical specifications in collaboration with clients, ensuring compliance with current standards. Key daily tasks include creating technical specifications, dimension drawings, and assessing technical feasibility in coordination with the Offer & Order Engineering Lead. The specialist will also determine manufacturing costs, align design solutions with Order Engineering, and collaborate with Procurement to verify component availability and define supplier requirements. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills, client orientation, and the ability to independently manage technical topics, including presenting feasibility studies during customer meetings.
