Job Summary
This role is for an experienced and solution-oriented 2nd-Level IT Support Specialist at a modern IT system house in Mannheim, focusing on supporting medium-sized businesses with robust, secure, and stable IT infrastructures. The specialist will be responsible for the analysis and resolution of complex technical issues, deep troubleshooting across server, network, virtualization, and IT security domains, and the administration of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 environments. Key duties include configuring and monitoring network components (Firewalls, Switches, WLAN), executing system migrations and updates, and providing escalation support to the 1st-Level team. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, professional experience in system administration or 2nd-Level support, and excellent knowledge of Microsoft ecosystems and networking technology. The position offers a permanent contract, challenging technical projects, flexible hours, and opportunities for professional development and certification.

Completed IT apprenticeship or degree in Computer Science
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in IT support, ideally 2nd-Level or System Administration
- Experience in network technology (Firewall, Routing, Switching, VPN, VLAN)
