Job Summary

The Havelland district administration is seeking a dedicated System Administrator to join their central administrative office in Nauen. This full-time, permanent position involves critical day-to-day network management, ensuring the operational security of the entire network infrastructure, and actively contributing to the long-term IT strategy and digitalization efforts of the district. Key responsibilities include developing and updating IT network concepts (hardware, operating systems, servers), administering network components, and rigorously planning and managing network security elements like firewalls and anti-virus software. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, possesses fundamental knowledge of IT and network administration, and is proficient in data protection and security topics. This role offers a challenging and varied environment, flexible working hours, and the stability of a public sector employer with compensation based on TVöD pay grade 11.
