Job Summary

This role involves managing and coordinating the crucial web relaunch of www.lenk.bayern, a key platform supporting the energy transition and climate protection initiatives in Bavaria. The IT Project Manager will act as the central interface between internal teams and external service providers, driving the project from initial content conception through infrastructure setup and smooth operational handover. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating the relaunch, supporting infrastructure deployment, monitoring operations, and analyzing the web offering post-launch. Key requirements include a university degree in an IT-related field and proven experience in IT Project Management, ideally relating to web relaunches. The manager must also focus on ensuring digital accessibility, optimizing User Experience (UX), and adhering to data protection standards. This position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to significant public sector digital communication efforts within a modern, flexible environment.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Bachelor / Diploma FH) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Media Informatics, or a comparable field with a focus on IT.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT Project Management (ideally in Web Relaunch)
  • Experience with procurement and tendering processes (advantageous)
  • Initial experience in Bavarian public administration and collaboration with a data center (advantageous)
