Job Summary

This role is a critical part-time (50%), fixed-term position until August 31, 2027, within the Geological Survey department of the Bavarian State Office for the Environment (LfU) in Marktredwitz. The Certified Technician will primarily focus on maintaining and documenting laboratory results, including data entry into database systems, and preparing data sets according to the Geological Data Act (GeolDG) to fulfill internal and external data requests. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as a Certified Technician in fields such as Laboratory Technology, Chemical Engineering, or Geotechnics, and possesses practical experience in laboratory work. They should be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills.
