Job Summary

This role involves driving the development of innovative sensor concepts for capturing critical plant parameters such as pressure, temperature, voltage, and current within switchgear systems. The Development Engineer will be responsible for the conception and integration of sensors, defining interfaces to higher-level assemblies (RTUs), and developing control concepts for motors within the switchgear. A key part of the job includes planning and executing comprehensive test concepts to validate functional limits and utilizing digital information for controlling Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS). The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, Measurement Technology, or a comparable field, possesses deep knowledge in sensor technology and signal processing, and is proficient in German and English.
