Job Summary

This role involves working as a Research Associate focusing on FPGA Design within exciting development projects for leading IT solution providers. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing FPGA designs for test and radio systems using hardware description languages, creating software for integrated microcontrollers, and actively participating in research and development projects. The associate will also investigate communication solutions, conceptualize innovative ideas, and perform verification and error analysis. A key aspect is the regular exchange with research and industry partners, documentation of development processes, and the publication of research findings, including participation in international conferences and standardization bodies. The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, possesses strong knowledge of FPGA design (preferably Xilinx) and VHDL, and is fluent in both German and English.
