Job Summary

This role involves working as a Packaging Engineer within an international project team focused on developing the next generation of high-voltage switchgear. The core responsibilities include designing and implementing packaging and transport concepts for complex machinery, devices, and systems, ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholder requirements. You will use 3D CAD systems, preferably PTC Creo, for modeling mechanical components and assemblies, and verify mechanical properties using conventional and FEM calculation methods. A significant part of the job involves planning, supervising, and evaluating development tests (e.g., chemical and mechanical transport loads), analyzing results, and deriving necessary design changes. The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Packaging Technology or Mechanical Engineering and possesses fluent German and English skills, coupled with strong teamwork, creativity, and customer orientation.
