Job Summary

This role involves coordinating and executing material qualification activities within a newly established pilot facility focused on individualized cancer therapies. The specialist will ensure the qualified status of over 100 materials used in manufacturing, working closely with various departments including Quality Assurance (QA), Manufacturing, Quality Control (QC), Procurement, CMC, and Supply Chain Management (SCM). Key responsibilities include managing supplier change notifications, handling material-related changes, complaints, and deviations, and monitoring upcoming material re-qualification tasks. The ideal candidate holds a degree in natural sciences (Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biosciences, Engineering, or Materials Science with pharmaceutical relevance) and possesses initial experience or foundational knowledge in a controlled pharmaceutical environment (GMP). Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills, along with fluency in both German and English, are essential for success in this highly collaborative and critical role.

Education

Completed university degree in Natural Sciences (e.g., Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biosciences, Engineering, Materials Science with relevance to the pharmaceutical field)

Experience

  • Initial experience in criticality assessment of materials or material management in a controlled pharmaceutical environment (GMP)
  • Foundational knowledge of the GMP environment is beneficial
