Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Project Engineer specializing in High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) Control Technology, working for a major energy corporation in Erlangen. The core responsibilities involve developing, configuring, and validating Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems, specifically utilizing Copa Data Zenon software. Day-to-day tasks include creating technical specifications, HMI concepts, and manuals, defining functional requirements for visual displays, and managing the central alarm system. The engineer will ensure flawless HMI configuration, integrate and validate components in test setups, and technically support acceptance tests with clients and suppliers. This position requires a degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering, proven experience in HMI system project planning, knowledge of critical control protocols (IEC 61850, IEC 101/104), and fluent proficiency in both German and English, making it ideal for a professional seeking long-term involvement in complex energy projects.
