Job Summary

This role places the System Engineer at the heart of the internal IT team, responsible for the operation, continuous development, and design of internal systems and services. Day-to-day tasks include planning and implementing technical setups, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and managing incident resolution during office hours. A core focus involves administering and troubleshooting services like Nginx, MySQL, and PostgreSQL, while actively maintaining virtualized and cloud environments, specifically utilizing Kubernetes and OpenStack. The ideal candidate brings strong foundational knowledge in Linux (preferably Debian), experience with virtualization and cloud technologies, and proficiency in automation using Bash or Python, alongside configuration management tools like Puppet.
