Job Summary
The University Hospital Düsseldorf (UKD) is seeking two highly motivated Technical Assistants (BTA/MTL) to join the Immunogenetics Laboratory within the Institute for Transplant Diagnostics and Cell Therapeutics. This role is crucial for supporting transplantation diagnostics, including bone marrow, kidney, heart, and cornea transplants. Day-to-day responsibilities involve extensive molecular genetic and serological analysis, such as DNA isolation, PCR amplification, Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), and antibody detection for transplantation-relevant antibodies. The ideal candidate must hold a completed professional qualification as a BTA or MTL, possess experience in molecular genetic methods, and demonstrate strong organizational skills, technical understanding, and detail-orientation to ensure accurate diagnostic results and quality control.
