Job Summary

This Senior Scientist role focuses on accelerating Predictive Formulation Development within the Life Science R&D team, specifically targeting solid dosage forms for small and large molecules using data-driven AI/ML techniques. The core responsibility involves identifying, evaluating, and testing innovative predictive formulation and process development software and tools, requiring extensive research into external literature and patent databases. The successful candidate will conduct proof-of-concept assessments for simulation tools, including practical testing on internal or external manufacturing units. Furthermore, the role involves applying data science approaches, supporting the implementation of Design of Experiments (DoE) within the wider team, and acting as a pivotal member interfacing with marketing and business development to create new business opportunities. This position requires an expert in software and simulation approaches with strong communication skills and a Ph.D. in a relevant Natural Science discipline.
