This role involves taking independent responsibility for the entire software lifecycle of specific IT applications, ranging from initial implementation and ongoing operation to maintenance, optimization, and eventual consolidation. The IT Application Manager is crucial for ensuring that all managed systems adhere to relevant IT Governance and Compliance (ITGC) guidelines. A core function is providing expert technical support and consultation to key users, requiring close collaboration with Business Analysts, process owners, and internal IT Service Teams. Candidates must possess a strong background in Business Information Systems or IT System Integration, coupled with fundamental knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL-based processes.
