Job Summary

This role involves driving the success of a broad IT product and service portfolio within a federal agency focused on social affairs and civil society. The incumbent will act as both an IT Product Manager and Requirements Manager, overseeing the entire Product Life Cycle—from procurement and development to modification and decommissioning. Key responsibilities include applying strategic foresight to identify efficiency potentials, coordinating and leading agile software development projects, conducting detailed requirements analysis, and documenting processes. The position requires a Bachelor's degree, preferably in IT or a related field, coupled with practical experience in product management or requirements management, and familiarity with project management methodologies like PRINCE2. This is an opportunity to contribute to public service, ensuring digital functionality and high-quality service delivery for internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a technically related field. Proof of recognition for foreign degrees (ZAB) is required.

Experience

  • Professional experience as a Product Manager and/or in Requirements Management
  • Experience in the recording and analysis of requirements
  • Experience in project management of small and medium-sized projects (e.g., based on PRINCE2) is desirable
  • Several years of experience in the aforementioned areas if the degree is not specialized (non-IT background)
