Job Summary

The Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bund, Germany's largest pension insurance provider, is seeking a dedicated Monitoring / Middleware Administrator to join their IT team in Berlin. This role is crucial for maintaining a highly complex and diverse IT system landscape, focusing specifically on the Middleware domain within Central IT Services. Day-to-day responsibilities include installing, configuring, and operating IT systems, primarily in a Linux environment, and performing monitoring, error analysis, and resolution for systems and deployed software. The administrator will also plan and operate Monitoring and Application Servers, utilizing DevOps practices, optimizing operational workflows, and implementing IT security measures. Candidates must possess a degree or equivalent qualification in IT, coupled with several years of professional experience in system integration or IT infrastructure. Applicable knowledge of Linux operating systems and specific monitoring/logging tools is required, along with strong communication and teamwork skills.
