Job Summary

This role involves managing, planning, and overseeing underground construction (Tiefbau) within interdisciplinary teams for demanding new construction, renovation, and infrastructure projects across various university campuses in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW). The Civil Engineer will be responsible for scheduling, budgeting, and cost planning, as well as coordinating and monitoring contractual planning and construction services provided by contractors. Key responsibilities also include contract and claim management, contributing to the selection and commissioning of external professionals, and handling coordination with approval authorities and users. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Civil Engineering (Underground Construction) and possesses professional experience and expertise in complex underground construction projects, HOAI performance phases (1-9), and public procurement law (VgV, VOB).
