Job Summary

This role offers an organic chemistry professional the opportunity to join Roche Diagnostics GmbH in Penzberg on a fixed-term contract via temporary employment. The Specialist will be instrumental in the development and troubleshooting of complex production processes, focusing on organic synthesis and purification. Key responsibilities include taking over new products and processes from R&D, establishing novel synthesis and purification methods, and conducting process adjustments and testing. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Organic Chemistry or substantial professional experience, coupled with hands-on expertise in preparative organic chemistry, purification technologies, and analytical methods, particularly HPLC. Experience in a GxP-regulated environment and chemical reaction scale-up is highly desirable. Success in this role requires fluency in both German and English, reliability, flexibility, and a strong team-oriented approach to ensure compliance with strict safety and regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, USDA).
