Job Summary

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Aalen, Germany, within the Technical Staff Unit of the Aalen Police Headquarters. The primary responsibility is ensuring the functionality and maintenance of critical communication systems, including telephone, radio, intercom, and building access control systems. Key tasks involve managing digital radio technology, participating in the planning, setup, and acceptance testing of new communication infrastructure (conference and video surveillance systems), and providing technical support during police operations. Candidates must have a background as an Electrical Engineering Technician or equivalent professional training in Information/System Electronics, ideally with three years of relevant professional experience. The role requires strong technical skills, including network technology knowledge, proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook), and the ability to manage procurement processes and independently handle technical tasks.
