Job Summary
This critical role involves supporting the Aalen Police Headquarters in the fight against serious and major crime by leveraging advanced data analysis techniques. The successful candidate will analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data using platforms like VeRA BW (cross-procedural research and analysis platform) to generate investigative leads and identify potential threats. Day-to-day tasks include creating detailed investigation reports, representing findings in court, and developing customized IT solutions. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in IT, Data Science, or a related field, strong programming skills in Python and Java, and experience with database programming and software development lifecycles. This is an opportunity to directly contribute to public safety and utilize advanced analytical skills within a vital public service environment in the Ostalb, Rems-Murr, and Schwäbisch Hall districts.
