Job Summary

This role is for an Accountant joining a growing Shared Service Center (SSC) in Frankfurt/Main, focusing on general ledger accounting for a major European healthcare provider. The successful candidate will be heavily involved in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB (German Commercial Code). Day-to-day tasks include handling payroll file processing and reconciliation, managing cash registers for stationary care facilities, performing general account reconciliation, and authorizing payment transactions. Key requirements include relevant commercial or tax-related training (e.g., as an office clerk or tax specialist assistant) and several years of professional experience in accounting. Knowledge of HGB balancing principles is highly desirable.
