Job Summary

This role is critical for driving the strategy and architecture of the rail operational telecommunications (TK) infrastructure within one of Germany's largest engineering offices. The Team Coordinator will be responsible for the technical leadership of team members, ensuring the TK strategy aligns with internal and external stakeholders through detailed analyses and synchronization efforts. Day-to-day tasks involve leading technology-related market analyses, participating in international standardization bodies (ETSI/UIC/ITU), and managing programs for the conception and introduction of new technologies. A key focus is securing the architecture of the switching network, optimizing for availability, performance, capacity, and cost-efficiency. This position requires a strong background in electrical or communication engineering, extensive experience in telecommunications (IP networks, 5G, mobile radio technology), and proven leadership capabilities, offering a unique opportunity to modernize and maintain critical national infrastructure.
