Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Electrical Engineering Technician specializing in the maintenance and repair of critical railway command and safety technology systems, including switches, signals, and interlocking mechanisms. Day-to-day responsibilities involve conducting inspections, troubleshooting faults, performing routine maintenance, and executing necessary repairs to ensure operational safety and compliance. The technician will also be responsible for assessing material requirements, maintaining detailed records of test protocols and construction reports, and providing technical guidance to other workers. Candidates must possess a completed apprenticeship in a relevant field such as Railway Safety Technology, or a technical school degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Mechatronics. The position requires fluent German, a Class B driver's license, and flexibility for shift work, night work, and on-call duty.
