Job Summary
This role is seeking a passionate and creative SAP BW Specialist to join a dynamic team dedicated to developing and implementing innovative SAP BW solutions and setting new standards within a modern public administration environment in Salzburg. Key responsibilities include providing comprehensive project management support, covering planning, execution, and controlling of software projects, alongside resource and time estimation. The specialist will coordinate technical requirements analysis, design solution variants in collaboration with stakeholders, and estimate effort for SAP BW applications. A core part of the job involves coordinating and leading the development, configuration, and adaptation of SAP BW solutions, managing complex ETL tasks for data integration (especially with SAP ERP/HCM), and ensuring development quality through verification and testing. Furthermore, the role requires active involvement in IT quality management, documentation, vulnerability analysis, security monitoring, and risk assessment for complex, interconnected SAP BW systems, demanding strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Required Skills
Education
Completed University or University of Applied Sciences degree in IT (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics) OR Higher School Diploma with several years of relevant professional experience in the SAP BW environment
Experience
- Professional experience in the SAP BW environment (required if educational qualification is met via secondary route)
- Experience in the architectural design and implementation of SAP BW solutions
- Practical knowledge of data modeling, reporting, and data analysis with SAP BW
