Job Summary
This role involves comprehensive responsibility for the planning, tendering, construction supervision, and billing of new construction, expansion, and maintenance projects related to water and wastewater infrastructure. The successful candidate will manage the administrative oversight of sewage treatment plants and sewer networks, conduct essential hydraulic network calculations, and contribute to the conceptual development and updating of the city's urban drainage plans, including the General Drainage Plan. Key requirements include a degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Deep/Underground Construction or Urban Water Management, coupled with mandatory experience in planning and supervising sewer rehabilitation and civil engineering measures. Expertise in procurement law (VOB, UVgO, HOAI) is essential, and the role requires qualification as a Water Protection Officer. Education
Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) in Civil Engineering (Specialization in Deep/Underground Construction or Urban Water Management). Alternatively: State-certified Construction Technician with vocational training in the construction industry. Qualification or willingness to qualify as a Water Protection Officer.
Experience
- Mandatory experience in the planning and construction supervision of sewer rehabilitation and civil engineering measures
- If applying as a certified Construction Technician: Several years of practical professional experience in deep/underground construction or urban water management
