Job Summary
This role provides essential administrative support within the University Library (UB) administration, focusing heavily on operational Controlling and Human Resources tasks. The specialist will be responsible for gathering key performance indicators, performing ad-hoc evaluations, and generating statistics, utilizing tools like ALMA Analytics to optimize reporting. A core function involves assisting with budget planning, control, and forecasting, as well as analyzing the campus-wide information budget. On the HR side, the role manages all administrative processes for student and scientific assistants, handles representation for other personnel status groups, and supports time and absence management. The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical skills, practical experience in operational controlling, and a commitment to process digitalization, working within a structured, service-oriented team environment.
Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed commercial vocational training or training in the public service sector. Bachelor's degree (BA) in Economics or a related field is advantageous.
Experience
- Multi-year professional experience in Controlling and Human Resources (HR) is desirable
- Practical experience in operational controlling
- Experience with the digitalization and optimization of processes

Additional
- Permanent employment contract (unbefristet). Availability for full-time (39.83 hours/week) or part-time (19.915 hours/week) required.
