The Construction Manager is responsible for ensuring the proper execution of all construction measures, strictly adhering to technical regulations, occupational health and safety standards, and relevant laws and ordinances. A core function is the autonomous coordination and scheduling of projects with various public entities, including Senate departments, traffic control, district offices, and other utility providers. Key financial responsibilities include independent cost, budget, and construction timeline control, alongside the review of surveying documents and final settlement of the overall construction measure. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (specializing in Civil Construction) or possess equivalent qualifications as a Civil Construction Technician with profound knowledge. Expertise in relevant German standards (DIN 4124, DVGW W551), construction law (HOAI, VOB), and road construction is essential for success in this permanent position with Berlin's largest water utility.
