Job Summary

The IT Specialist will ensure the daily training operations of the Naval Tactics Center's systems (hardware, software, and networks) at the Naval Operations School in Bremerhaven. Key responsibilities include administering and creating associated databases, monitoring system operation, performing error analysis, and implementing corrective measures. The role involves managing all IT systems and networks, organizing hardware and software operations, including automatic updates and backups, and integrating new systems into the existing infrastructure. Furthermore, the specialist provides 2nd-level support and expert advice on hardware and software issues. This is a permanent position within the German Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr), requiring a university degree in Computer Science or a related field and mandatory security clearance.
