Job Summary

This role is ideal for an experienced engineer passionate about high-power systems and advanced simulation techniques. As a Development Engineer focusing on High Current and High Voltage Applications, you will be responsible for conducting and evaluating mechanical calculations for critical infrastructure, including high-voltage overhead lines and railway catenary systems. A core part of the job involves the continuous development and refinement of calculation methodologies, encompassing static, dynamic, thermomechanical, and electrical field simulations. You will also assist in planning crucial laboratory and field tests necessary for validating calculation models and testing new fittings. The ideal candidate holds a Master's or PhD in Engineering, possesses initial experience with high-current/high-voltage systems, and demonstrates strong programming skills in languages like Python, C++, or MATLAB. This position offers a permanent contract with an innovative technology company.
