This role involves leading research and development projects focused on information technology surveillance within the Federal Criminal Police Office (Bundeskriminalamt). Required Skills

Education

Completed scientific university degree (Diplom, Magister, or Master) in Computer Science, Communications Engineering, Information Technology, Physics, Mathematics, or a comparable scientific university degree from a MINT field (Mathematics, Informatics, Natural Sciences, Technology).

  • Consent to an extended security clearance check according to § 9 SÜG (Security Clearance Act) is required. This security clearance must not result in a security risk that conflicts with the security-sensitive activity (§ 14 SÜG). Willingness to work flexible hours, including planned and spontaneous business trips (national and international), participation in operational deployments, overtime, and on-call duty (up to four times per year each) is required.
