Job Summary

This role involves leading the technological foundation for Wiesbaden's central municipal data infrastructure within the Smart City initiative. The Expert Data and Information Manager will be responsible for developing core Smart City components, such as a digital twin and an urban data space, while exploring advanced technological potentials, including the application of Artificial Intelligence, especially large language models (LLMs). Key day-to-day tasks include establishing and coordinating a city-wide AI steering group, ensuring a sustainable data architecture and governance framework (covering data sources, processing, and consumption), and maintaining necessary IT security. The manager will also oversee service providers and guarantee professional multi-project management. This position requires a Master's degree in a relevant field like Computer Science or Information Management, coupled with extensive professional experience in leading complex technological projects and transformation programs, offering a dynamic environment to contribute significantly to public welfare and urban development.
