This critical role involves managing the medium-voltage network operations for the city of Hamburg, ensuring stable energy distribution through 24/7 shift work. The primary responsibilities include the autonomous execution and instruction of switching operations, managing fault reports across the supply area, and coordinating rapid power restoration measures. A significant part of the job entails communicating proactively with customers, providing updates on ongoing repairs, estimated restoration times, and offering preliminary diagnostic advice for system issues. Candidates must possess a completed technical vocational qualification, supplemented by a Master Craftsman or Technician certification in Electrical Engineering. Success requires high levels of self-reliance, discipline, resilience, and excellent customer orientation, coupled with Fluent (C1) German language proficiency. Required Skills

Education

Completed Technical Vocational Training; Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician (Techniker) certification in Electrical Engineering (or comparable).

Experience

  • Experience working in a demanding 24/7 shift operation environment.
  • Professional experience in network control or medium voltage system management.
