Job Summary

This role involves contributing significantly to new construction and modification projects for Hamburg's largest energy distribution network operator. The Engineer will manage projects from conceptual design and planning through realization and final commissioning. Key responsibilities include supporting the acceptance and sampling of high-voltage operating equipment, specifically cables and cable accessories, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines and standards at the manufacturer's site. A core function is the analysis and evaluation of complex operational issues, leading to the creation of technical concepts and recommended actions for high-voltage cable systems. Furthermore, the role requires conducting fault analyses, preparing detailed reports on equipment malfunctions, and developing innovative technical solutions for 110 kV cable system technology. The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Electrical or Energy Technology and has prior experience in the cable sector, demonstrating a self-reliant and proactive approach to engineering challenges.
