Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled QC Expert to join an innovative pharmaceutical company in Ochsenhausen, Germany, initially on an 18-month contract with a strong possibility of permanent placement. The position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for 2 days of remote work per week. The core responsibilities involve planning and coordinating complex Quality Control processes for biopharmaceutical products, including material releases, sample management, and stability studies. The QC Expert will support the lab head in evaluating relevant QC activities, coordinate analysis documentation of various GMP documents, and manage complex deviation and change control procedures. Key qualifications include a Master's degree in a natural science field (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy) or equivalent professional training with extensive experience, profound knowledge of the GMP environment, and expertise in quality management systems. Fluency in both German and English is required for autonomous correspondence with internal/external partners and authorities.

Required Skills

Master of Science degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or comparable natural science fields; or completed vocational training in relevant fields.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in a pharmaceutical environment (required for Master's degree holders)
  • Extensive relevant professional experience in the pharmaceutical environment (required for vocational training alternative)
  • Professional experience with material releases and/or analytical issues
  • Practical experience with Quality Management Systems
  • Expert knowledge in Sample Coordination/Management, Stability Studies, and Document Management
