Job Summary

This permanent role involves the critical maintenance and commissioning of secondary network components within copper and fiber optic infrastructure for Hamburg's largest energy distribution network operator. The technician will be responsible for switching transmission paths, performing precise commissioning measurements, and assembling and parameterizing various small devices according to detailed work orders. A significant portion of the job includes troubleshooting faulty operating equipment and transmission paths, as well as instructing external personnel on site safety and equipment handover. Candidates must hold a completed qualification as an Electronics Technician for Information and Systems Technology and bring practical experience in handling fiber optic and telecommunications cables, coupled with strong skills in parameterizing communication devices. This position requires participation in on-call service.
