Job Summary

This role involves ensuring stable, secure, and efficient IT services as a primary digitalization partner for the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) in Bonn. As an IT Service Technician, you will be the face of the BWI to users, providing decentralized second-level support and on-site assistance across more than 50 locations in and around Bonn. Day-to-day tasks include handling incidents and requests related to PC, telephony, LAN, and WAN environments, ensuring compliance with service levels, and meticulous documentation in the ticketing system. You will also be responsible for the installation, commissioning, upgrades, and maintenance of hardware and software, conducting DGUV V3 inspections, and contributing to ongoing quality assurance measures. The ideal candidate has a completed three-year IT vocational training, ideally three years of relevant professional experience, excellent organizational skills, and fluent German proficiency. The position requires mobility, participation in on-call duty, and work within a shift-like model (Mon-Fri, 7 AM - 5 PM), offering a secure job contributing directly to Germany's security.
