Job Summary

This critical role supports the modernization and maintenance of Berlin's 36,000 km power grid, focusing on the high-reliability Grid Control System (SCADA). The successful candidate will primarily function as a System Administrator and expert for configuring complex data exchange interfaces. Day-to-day tasks involve conceptualizing and implementing process and interface adaptations for system development projects, optimizing existing interfaces in close collaboration with technical experts and external suppliers, and rigorously documenting all technical details. A core responsibility is ensuring continuous system availability across high, medium, and low voltage networks, which includes coordinating software error resolution, managing patch/release schedules, and supporting requirements analysis for technical projects. The position requires a degree in an IT, technical, or natural science field, foundational knowledge of network technology, and professional experience operating complex IT/OT systems and their interfaces. Fluency in German is required, alongside good written and spoken English skills.
