This role requires a specialized engineer to handle the creation and optimization of physical layouts for RF and Analog components, leveraging SiGe-BiCMOS technology. Day-to-day responsibilities include utilizing tools like Cadence Virtuoso XL for layout design and executing the complete verification process, including DRC and LVS checks using Cadence Assura/PVS. The engineer will be crucial in coordinating floorplans with RF-IC Design and System teams. A key aspect of the job involves automating development workflows through scripting using languages such as Skill or Python, and actively preparing and supporting the Tape-Out process. Candidates must possess a completed degree in Electrical Engineering and several years of professional experience in custom RF and Analog layout, coupled with deep expertise in specialized layout methodologies like parasitic effects reduction and high-frequency wiring. This is a full-time, permanent position focused on driving technical innovation for major automotive and aerospace clients.
