Job Summary

This role involves defining, implementing, and managing the mandatory framework for responsible data handling across the BG RCI, a statutory accident insurance provider in Germany. The Data Quality and Governance Officer will be responsible for developing and maintaining the organization's Data Governance structure, including standards, roles, and processes, and establishing central data quality management standards. Key responsibilities include coordinating data initiatives with IT and specialized departments, steering the implementation of BI Governance, and fostering a data-driven culture through training and change management. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in fields like Business Informatics or Public Management, possesses strong analytical skills, and has professional experience in areas such as rehabilitation, membership/contribution, or prevention. This position offers an engaging, highly responsible, and demanding role within a modern public service administration, with the flexibility of choosing between Heidelberg, Bochum, or Mainz locations.

Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed scientific university degree (Master or University Diploma) in Business Informatics, Sociology, Public Management, or comparable field, or the career examination for the higher non-technical administrative service

Experience

  • Several years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience in rehabilitation and benefits, membership and contribution, or prevention is preferred
  • Experience in the analysis, design, visualization, and documentation of processes
  • Experience in Project Management, ideally with leadership experience
