Job Summary

This role is critical for the transforming TRATON R&D Germany GmbH, focusing on the future of eMobility Powertrain systems. The Test Engineer will be responsible for the end-to-end testing lifecycle of engine control units (ECUs). Day-to-day activities include planning and coordinating cross-functional test activities, independently developing comprehensive validation concepts for ECUs, and conducting rigorous system tests both on test benches and in test vehicles. A key responsibility is ensuring test quality and compliance for emission and safety-relevant functions, specifically adhering to ISO 26262 standards. Furthermore, the role involves coordinating external trades and managing the entire fault analysis and documentation process according to internal procedures. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, substantial system experience with ECUs, and foundational knowledge in eMobility, along with fluency in both German and English.
