Job Summary

This role is pivotal in developing functional concepts and innovative functions for both E-Mobility and conventional powertrain systems within TRATON R&D Germany GmbH, supporting a major organizational transformation. The Function Developer will be responsible for defining and implementing functional requirements in coordination with various stakeholders, and guiding the serial function development process from initial specification through implementation and vehicle commissioning. Day-to-day tasks involve utilizing rapid prototyping and simulation environments, applying model-based tools, and working according to the V-Model and agile methodologies. Key qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Mechatronics, professional experience in requirements-based function development, and familiarity with ISO 26262 functional safety.
