Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position within the Property Management department at Campus Weihenstephan seeks a qualified Electrical Engineering Master Craftsman or Technician. The core responsibilities involve ensuring the optimal functionality and safety of all electrical installations across university properties, including buildings, greenhouses, and the wood chip heating system. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting and optimizing various electrical facilities (lighting, lightning protection, electrical systems), preparing tender documents for new projects, and coordinating external service providers and specialized contractors, including conducting final acceptance inspections. A crucial aspect of the role is the willingness to assume the duties of the Responsible Electrical Specialist (VEFK) and provide technical supervision to other electrical technicians. Candidates must possess completed vocational training as an Electrician, complemented by a Master Craftsman or Technician qualification in Electrical Engineering, coupled with strong IT skills and a service-oriented, highly responsible work ethic. Ideally, applicants should bring several years of experience in building technology.
