Job Summary

This role involves supporting the implementation of the State Climate Protection Act towards achieving a climate-neutral state administration, focusing heavily on renewable energy projects. The Electrical Engineering Engineer will initiate, develop, realize, and settle projects related to photovoltaics, electromobility, and electrical energy storage systems. Key responsibilities include managing construction measures across all service phases of the HOAI (Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers), controlling the quality of external architectural and engineering firms, and contributing to the operation and maintenance of technical systems. After an appropriate training period, the engineer will assume project management duties. This position offers the chance to contribute significantly to public sector infrastructure and sustainability goals within the State of Rhineland-Palatinate, working on complex projects for federal, state, and international clients (NATO, US Forces).

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable field

Experience

  • Professional experience in Renewable Energies (advantageous)
  • Readiness to undergo security clearance (depending on deployment area)
  • Experience in steering and quality control of architectural and engineering firms
