This role involves taking a central position in developing cutting-edge manufacturing technologies and material solutions, specifically focusing on feedstock-based shaping processes like filament extrusion and metal powder injection molding. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating research and development projects, ensuring technical project success, and managing budget adherence. The position requires interdisciplinary collaboration across R&D, production, sales, and external technology partners. Key qualifications include a PhD in a relevant engineering field (Technical Chemistry, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering) and strong analytical and communication skills in both German and English. Required Skills

Education

Doctorate (PhD) in Technical Chemistry, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable engineering discipline

Experience

  • Experience with metal-polymer composites (advantageous)
  • Professional experience in planning and executing R&D projects
