Job Summary

This role involves supporting research and development within a dynamic team, focusing on the preparation, execution, and documentation of laboratory and operational trials, followed by comprehensive data analysis. Key responsibilities include scheduling and tracking sample collection, sample production, and material characterization. The technician will be crucial in cross-departmental development support, summarizing work in detailed reports, and presenting findings to the project team. Candidates must possess a completed apprenticeship in chemical, materials, or process technology with several years of professional experience, or an equivalent technical degree (HTL) in chemical engineering or materials technology. Expertise in handling chemicals and hazardous materials, coupled with basic knowledge of material characterization, is essential. This position offers interesting tasks, a positive work environment, and opportunities for specialized technical training in surface technology, corrosion, and metrology.

Education

Completed apprenticeship (Lehre) in Chemical Laboratory Technology, Materials Technology, or Process Technology, OR HTL degree (Technical High School) in Chemical Engineering, Metallic Materials Technology, or Material and Environmental Technology
