The Laboratory Scientist will drive innovation by independently planning, executing, and optimizing complex bioanalytical methods, including ligand binding and cell-based assays, designed to quantify active substances and antibodies in various matrices. A critical component of the role involves conducting analyses of clinical and preclinical samples within a highly regulated environment, demanding strict adherence to GLP and GCP requirements and the maintenance of comprehensive, audit-proof documentation. Candidates must possess a university degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Biotechnology and demonstrate experience in developing and validating bioanalytical procedures (such as ELISA and ECL). Furthermore, the role requires expertise in laboratory automation, utilizing modern liquid-handling robots (e.g., Tecan, Hamilton), and the ability to troubleshoot methodological challenges. This position is ideal for an analytical thinker seeking to standardize and advance bioanalytical processes while leveraging deep knowledge of protein biochemistry.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a comparable field

Experience

  • Experience in the development, establishment, and validation of bioanalytical procedures (e.g., ELISA, ECL, cell-based assays) for qualitative and quantitative protein analysis in biological samples
  • Professional experience conducting analyses of clinical and preclinical samples in a regulated environment
  • Experience in laboratory automation and handling liquid-handling robots (Ideally)
