Job Summary

The Laboratory Engineer will primarily be responsible for conducting assessments and sampling of preforms and bottles, supporting mold construction, and consulting internal clients on bottle design and development, ensuring process engineering principles are met. Key tasks include documenting process instructions, optimizing products during commissioning and acceptance testing both locally in Hamburg and internationally at customer sites (requiring approximately 40% travel), and deriving process properties for digital and polymer-based solutions. Candidates should hold a degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Plastics Technology, ideally with some initial professional experience in plastics processing and good practical English skills.

Experience
- Completed university degree in engineering science (Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Plastics Technology)
- Initial professional experience in plastics processing (desirable)
- Knowledge of organic chemistry and polymer manufacturing (advantageous)
