Job Summary

This leadership role involves spearheading the Automation Department for a leading robotics and automation technology company in Ottendorf-Okrilla. The Head of Automation will be responsible for leading and coordinating complex automation projects, prioritizing tasks, resources, and team efforts, and continuously optimizing planning and development processes to enhance efficiency and quality. A key focus is the technical leadership in designing and developing electrical control, measurement, and automation systems for sophisticated mechatronic installations. The role requires ensuring technical excellence by reviewing documentation, circuit diagrams, and test protocols, while also handling the creation of schematics using tools like EPLAN, and programming and commissioning microcontroller and PLC-based solutions. Candidates should possess a background in electrical engineering or automation technology, several years of project management experience, and proven ability to lead small technical teams, contributing actively to technological innovation and R&D.
