Job Summary

This role is designed for an ambitious PLC Programmer and Commissioning Engineer to drive technological progress by implementing automation solutions for diverse clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing complete PLC software, primarily using the TIA Portal, configuring and integrating all automation components, and designing operator panels in collaboration with mechanical and electrical engineering teams. A significant part of the role involves conducting tests, commissioning machines and systems both in-house and on-site at the customer's location, overseeing plant ramp-ups, and training customer personnel. Key qualifications include a background in Electrical or Automation Engineering (degree or technician level), strong skills in PLC programming, and practical experience with automation components like robot controls and material flow computers. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and requires a willingness to travel up to 40% within Germany and occasionally across Europe.
