Job Summary

This role involves supporting the German Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) at the Institute for Materials and Operating Resources (WIWeB) in Erding, focusing on the operational readiness and supply management of paints, varnishes, and chemicals within the defense technology sector. Day-to-day tasks include managing product availability for operational use, ensuring resource-optimized and economical utilization, and providing data for product development. The officer supports project management with budget documentation and negotiations. A core responsibility is the maintenance and processing of product-related material fundamentals, logistical master data, and cataloging material according to international standards using systems like SinN and SASPF. The ideal candidate possesses a technical or commercial background, experience in Bundeswehr material management, and familiarity with logistical IT systems like SASPF. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in a technical or commercial apprenticeship, or eligibility for the middle technical or non-technical administrative service.

Experience

  • Professional experience in Bundeswehr material management
  • Minimum of two years of professional activity in material management
  • Experience in SASPF master data maintenance and technical-logistical support (TLB) is desirable
  • Experience in project processing according to Customer Product Management (CPM) or PBN is desirable
